WINTER Don't let the snow keep you away, here on the Island you can enjoy many winter sports such as cross country skiing, snowmobiling and ice fishing for pike and Perch. In December, the second bow season for deer begins. You can also hunt snow shoe rabbits. Drummond Island offers 70 to 100 miles of groomed trails, there is also a tree line that goes from the Island to Thessalon, Ontario or the Canadian island of St. Josph where you can find Poker rallies, fish fries and fishing contests.
